In a successful effort to broaden my viewing audience, I began performing songs that combine lyrics of my content with 1950’s swing tunes. Mixing contemporary dialogue and slang with World War II era melodies and costuming, set the stage for collectable object making, such as posters and records. Attention to printing press layout and photography options of the inspirational decade, I was able to illustrate these self-portraits using current digital media.
