I make art that celebrates collections in the spirit of postmodern pluralism. Combining classic mediums with new technology I incorporate autobiographical stories with objects commonly collected as memorabilia. I am interested in melding old memories with a balance of photography and graphic design, as well as layering nostalgia with fresh methods of commentary, continuing a theme of co-existing old and new. I unify digital imaging with traits of print and lithography, working with textures and layers to represent my personality traits and who I have become from these encounters. |
